The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all joinery related activities from beginning stages to successful delivery of projects with quality, health and safety, financially, on time and as per Client’s requirements. The role will involve leading, managing employees and systems to ensure effective and efficient procedures.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

Planning & Execution
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Project Resources
Read and understand construction AutoCAD drawing and Identify the necessary resources and assign individual responsibilities. Liaise with Procurement department for sourcing and purchasing required materials.

Project Leading & Coordination
Lead the project team and to ensure the delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost. Work closely with RJ drawing, estimating & production staff.

Production Flow
Organize production flow effectively and efficiently and maximize company’s use of assets towards project completion.

Production Supervision
Supervise all production activities from inception to delivery, plan schedules and ensures timely completion, controls and implements cost effective procedures.

Compliance
Ensure compliance throughout all projects with relevant specifications, standards, health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care.

Client & Stakeholder Relation
Build and maintain relation with the client and all stakeholders in the project and managed to an appropriate level.

Meetings
Attend client/design meetings to discuss program preparation, management of subcontractors & site labor, health & safety documentation and procurement of specialist materials.

Documentation
Ensure quality procedures are maintained and documented throughout the project until completion and handover.

Ad-hoc Reporting
Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports required by General Manager.

7. JOB SPECIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
· Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 5 Years’ experience in Joinery with proven experience in delivery of project from inception to handover.
- Commercial & Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.
TECHNICAL KSAs/ CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Arabic and English.
- Professional level experience in projects operation practices and systems.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD Drawings.
