Job Title: Sales & Business Development Officer
Reports to: Sales & Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities at a strategic level, maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintain existing key accounts to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
· Execute business development strategies, programs and tactics for all new service launchings, services being currently provided as well as specific business development & sales plans.
· Prepare effective proposals, presentations, demonstrations and sales tool on business development opportunities for the management as well as for clients in liaison with the Advisory Departments.
· Drive the entire sales cycle from initial client engagement and project kick-off stage to closing key accounts with an aim to retain clients and ensure that all clients renew their services on a yearly basis.
· Conduct competitive service analysis and market research to develop roadmap and sales strategy working cohesively with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to understand client requirements, Advisory growth requirements and market demand to secure new business and maximize overall revenue.
· Identify, analyze and recommend specific business opportunities for the profitable external growth and diversification through merger, acquisition, alliances, joint ventures and divestures to meet Business Development targets in-line with expansion plans of the Company.
· Initiate, structure, and negotiate different types of partnership agreements with potential partners of Advisory.
· Prioritize business opportunities in light strategy through the review and screening of opportunities/ projects based on market potential, potential rate of return, etc.
· Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will attract potential clients for business engagement with the company and share it with the Business Development Manager for approval.
· Conduct meetings with existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive by maintaining relationships and following up on proposals.
· Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services through in-person sessions as well as by telephone, written correspondence, follow-ups, emails and external sales calls, etc. to generate earned revenue, and build sustainable business lines.
· Update database of documents and client information on a regular basis and file all documents at all times as required to ensure easy retrieval of important information in future.
