We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled US Equity Trader to join our dynamic trading team in Al Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the US equity markets and demonstrate a strong ability to execute trades efficiently while managing risk effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to market analysis and the capability to make quick decisions based on market conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing trading strategies, monitoring market trends, and optimizing trade execution to maximize profitability. Responsibilities: Execute trades in US equity markets while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards. Analyze market trends and economic indicators to inform trading strategies and decisions. Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies based on thorough research and analysis. Monitor positions and manage risk effectively to ensure optimal portfolio performance. Collaborate with other traders and analysts to share insights and improve trading strategies. Utilize trading software and platforms to execute trades and analyze market data. Prepare detailed reports on trading performance and market conditions for management review. Stay updated on financial news and developments that may impact market movements. Participate in training and development programs to enhance trading skills and market knowledge. Build and maintain relationships with brokers and other market participants to enhance trading opportunities. Preferred Candidate: Proven experience as a trader in the US equity markets with a strong track record of performance. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey trading insights. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance in all trading activities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software. Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices. A degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
